Emergencies are best handled in an emergency setting. These hospitals are set up to triage and treat cases urgently with trained staff, supplies, and equipment that general practices often do not have. Don't waste valuable time trying to reach your primary veterinarian, go directly to an emergency facility, and when you can, call your vet for your records to be shared with the emergency hospital.
